the back story

Originally from Tennessee, I moved to Sacramento in 2006 to work for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. After living it up on Sacramento's grid, my family decided we were ready for a bit more space to roam - and try our luck at growing food and raising animals. In the fall of 2019, we landed at a peaceful 5-acre property in Shingle Springs with views of the Sierras, complete with a paddock and garden.

Fast forward to 2022, and I'm now living bicoastally back in my hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee - the heart of East Tennessee and near the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.
